Business to Consumer (B2C) is the process in which businesses sell directly to end users through a physical retail store or an e-commerce website. Consumers buy technology, products, or services directly from the business for personal use.  

Key components include:

  • Offering user-friendly purchasing channels to end users 
  • Delivering personalized marketing and communication to support sales 

B2C brands seek to create strong emotional bonds with their customers that directly tie back to their products or services. When done well, customers can feel a kinship with a brand that closely resembles their core values.
