"Internal KPIs are important because they set the groundwork for what our outcomes are going to be or what we're trying to drive to,” Christin explained. “By defining what success looks like upfront, marketers can measure the impact of their efforts more effectively."

Setting Achievable, yet Simplistic KPIs that Work

Ambitious goals are great—but why shoot for the stars when you know it’s unachievable? Excellent point! Nobody wants to be set up to fail.

Christin goes on to share how to identify strategic partners and set KPIs that align with their engagement levels. She added that simplistic yet targeted KPIs, such as the number of engaged partners along with their certification levels, serve up valuable metrics you can truly leverage as you develop strategy and build programs.

KPIs don’t just measure progress; they showcase value. To build trust with stakeholders, it’s critical to share results clearly and concisely. Christin highlighted the power of tying outcomes back to original goals.
