Video Conferencing is a digital communication tool that allows individuals or teams to hold face-to-face meetings online using audio and video. It supports real-time collaboration, regardless of where participants are located.

It typically includes:

  • Connecting users via a shared virtual meeting room or platform (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or Google Meet)
  • Transmitting live video and audio feeds to facilitate natural, interactive communication
  • Supporting screen sharing, chat, file exchange, and meeting recording for enhanced collaboration

Video conferencing is essential for modern workplaces, as it supports flexible, remote work environments. It can also contribute to cost-efficiency and overall productivity, by enabling colleagues, clients, and/or partners to communicate with one another anywhere in the world. Because of all these benefits, it has become an indispensable tool in virtually every industry and business.
